I grew up watching my dad take photos with his Nikon film camera, accompanying him as he dropped off the film and picked up the prints. I watched my parents laugh and cry with others, listening to the stories of their lives. I sat mesmerised as my parents told us of far away lands, where everything was so different to suburban Sydney. Every family holiday through childhood fuelled my wish to travel more.

It’s no wonder I ended up picking up a camera at 18, and travelled at every opportunity I got, increasingly enthralled by the stories of each city.

I aspire to document each story through photographs to narrate each in a way unique to the family, couple, or location. Because of this, I rarely shoot in a studio. Instead, I am a perpetual light chaser, capturing moments in relationships and landscapes that would have passed by if not for a click of the shutter. 

Though I’m based in NSW, Australia, I am always keen to explore beyond our borders, to wherever in our world the story is unfolding.
